BRAHMI PLUS MEMORY BOOSTER POWDER
A good memory power acts as a catalyst in all walks of life, be it academic success, maintenance of personal or professional relationships. It is to increase this brainpower that children are sent to the best of schools & collages.
However, nature also provides certain herbs for development of brainpower including memory, intellect and concentration, such herbs are called “Medhya Rasayanas” in Ayurved.
According to Indian mythology “Lord Brahma” is the deity of intellect and therefore the herb that promotes intelligence is known as Brahmi. In fact there are two types of Brahmi, one Brahmi-Mandukparni (Centella Asiatica) and the other Brahmi-Jalnim (Bacopa Monnieri), both complimenting each others action.
It is for the first time that both types of Brahmi have been used in a product rightfully called BRAHMI-PLUS. These herbs improve blood supply to the brain, providing nutrition to hippo campus, the chief portion of the brain. Other complimentary herbs like Shankhpushpi, Yashtimadhu provide nutrition to different areas of brain resulting in improved neuro-transmission and brain functioning. BRAHMI-PLUS Memory Booster Powder thus becomes a comprehensive and matchless brain nutrient, to suit one and all but a boon for students in particular and for those engaged in intellectually demanding work.

Abstract
The current review deals with the components and application of such a traditional herb “Brahmi” that corresponds to two plants, Bacopa monnieri and Centella asiatica. Research evidences clearly indicate that both plants possess neuroprotective properties, have nootropic activity with therapeutic implications for patients with memory loss.
